Day #1 (Pics)

This is when Ethan was first all hooked up to the ventilator, in this picture, he's breathing 21% O2, (same as you and I) and he's initiating each breath. The ventilator is helping the breaths, but he's initiating here. 

^^the same, but this is the closest I was able to get to him at the time.

Sisters! Lisa and Stephen came by, I don't know if Katie actually remembers anything from yesterday though...;-)

 This is what I'm calling the "alien machine" although the medical community calls it a CPAP (what do they know?)
