We were so excited about this because it meant we will now be able to hold him! We had to wait a few hours until his belly button closed up a bit, but around 2:15 this afternoon, Katie was able to hold Ethan for the first time! We both cried a bunch, it was so special to us! Here are some pictures of that time.
AWEEEEE! your first Kangaroo! how wonderful .... Katie this was my favorite tiem with Addy ... Craig enjoyed it too ... this is great if you are Kangarooing this early.. that is a very good sign... Also he looks wonderful , great color, great skin tone, and very alert.... WOW ! you guys are doing wonderful! Hang in there praying for you guys...

What beautiful pics...There's nothing more precious than a mommy snuggling with her baby boy. We were told that this was the most critical time, in order to speed up the development and growth of a premie. Cameron and I did this for a long time. Priceless! :)
